Description : A boutique winery located in the beautiful setting of the Northern Sierra Nevada foothills. Quilici Vineyards handcrafts 5 varietals from vine to bottle, a true estate bottled wine. As a small, family owned and operated winery we are able to control every element of our vintage. All of our wines are aged in oak, unfiltered and unfined in a Bordeaux style. Established in 1998, we have cultivated and nurtured the vines on our ten-acre property and we are pleased to offer our wines to America.

Oroville Chinese Temple and Garden

Description : Dedicated in the spring of 1863, this building served as a temple of worship for 10,000 Chinese; then living here. Funds for this erection and furnishings were provided by the Emperor and Empress of Chins and local Chinese Labor built the structure. The Building was deeded to the City of Oroville in 1935, by the Chinese Residents. California Registered Historical Landmark NO. 770. Plaque placed by the California State Park Commission in cooperation with Oroville Woman community club The main temple is unique in that it serves many eastern religions as “The Temple of Many deities (Liet Sheng Kong).

Feather River Fish Hatchery

Description : When Oroville Dam was constructed, several miles of spawning and nursery grounds were no longer available for salmon and steelhead trout returning to their home stream to deposit eggs. To compensate for the loss, the hatchery was built in 1967, planned cooperatively by the Dept. of Fish & Game and Dept. of Water Resources, with advice and assistance from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services. The main hatchery houses the spawning operation and incubators. The facility can accommodate 9,000 adult salmon and 2,000 adult steelhead. Incubators can hold 20 million eggs, and 9.6 million fingerlings can be reared in the eight concrete raceways.
