McCloud is a mill town with a very rich past and one of the few places in California where the community still lives on its rich railroad and timber related history. If you are looking for a good place to eat in McCloud then you can’t do any better than the River Grill and Bar located in downtown McCloud. If a themed dinner is on the menu then try Shasta Sunset Dinner Train right on Main Street for a lesson in history and a very good steak as well. The people in McCloud will make sure your vacation is one you will not forget soon.

The town offers one of the most uniquely Northern California experiences available in the Lassen Volcanic Park.
