About Madeline
The town of Madeline California was an important stop on the Nevada-California-Oregon Railroad route and became a great place for the workers to grab the supplies that they needed. The area has long been known for its rich history and bountiful agricultural abilities even though oranges in the winter were a stretch to the imagination! It seems that the Madeline Hotel advertised in postcards and on the lobby desk area that they could grow some of the biggest and sweetest tasting oranges in the country right there in the dry and winter-cold climate of the town. It cannot be said that the town did not try to bring people into the area and by any means possible! The population of the town is very low and this means that any family visit there will be the one that will be treasured in the minds and hearts of your loved ones. The town of Madeline CA is a great place to see and experience what Northern California is all about.
