About Herlong
The town of Herlong California is located in southern Lassen County and is perched on the edge of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Honey Lake is the place where you can cool off from the dry dusty heat of the summer and really refresh yourself and get energized for a night of exciting fun. The town was originally built for the workers of the Sierra Army Depot which was created during WWII for logistic reasons. The town is still relatively small and this means that a trip to this beautiful area will certainly be one that is special. The natural beauty of the Sierra Mountain Range is beyond mere words and will require you to see it for yourself. The base remained in operation until a few years after the war and then the tourist started to come. The town has so much natural history and excitement that a weekend in Herlong CA may not be enough time to experience it all!
