About Chester
Upon reaching the road that leads into Chester California, one starts to be overcome by the waves of the mountainous magnificence of the area. Known as the ‘Gateway to Lassen Peak’, the little mountain hamlet is on the converse of the Sierra and Cascade Mountain Ranges. While in Chester the family can head on over to the Chester Museum which features Indian artifacts and photos from the area.
