While in the beautiful town you can see the only community college in Siskiyou County, the College of the Siskiyous, which is a fully accredited community college. This is an important educational pursuit facility for the youth and those looking to go back to school after a beat-up economy has left them unemployed or under employed. There are three parks inside Weed and they are, Belair Park, Charlie Byrd Park, and the new Weed Skate Park. There are enough family activities for everyone in Weed.
